About the Trauma Center

Our Mission

The mission of the Trauma Center is to help individuals, families and communities that have been impacted by trauma and adversity to re-establish a sense of safety and predictability in the world, and to provide them with state-of-the-art therapeutic care as they reclaim, rebuild, and renew their lives.

Through our integrative engagement in clinical service, research, and training, our mission is to ensure that everyone impacted by complex trauma has the chance to thrive.

The core of our work is our longstanding leadership in the development, adaptation, careful evaluation and advancement of innovative and proven approaches to trauma recovery and personal growth for children and adults. We strive to have the broadest reach, from serving individuals in our local communities to providing training and consultation on a national and international level to multidisciplinary providers, to worldwide dissemination of research publications and clinical resources.
