GLBTQ Program

The Trauma Center is now pleased to be offering specialized services for GLBTQ individuals and family members, who have experienced trauma. This includes experiences such as discrimination, sexual assault, domestic violence, childhood and adult abuse and neglect, community violence, as well as challenges surrounding orientation, adjustment and identity.

Our Program Offers:

  • GLBTQ–Identified/ Trauma-Informed Therapists & Supervisors
  • Help for partners and extended family members of traumatized GLBTQ individuals
  • Group Services available based on client need, such as a Queer Women’s Sexuality and Intimacy Group (in-planning)
  • GLBTQ/Trauma-Informed therapists available for trainings and consultations to community-based clinics, university counseling centers, and other interested agencies
